Bio
Amanda grew up in Virginia Beach, VA; she received her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and completed her dietetic internship through the Virginia Department of Health. Amanda has a diverse background with experience in group nutrition, pediatric, pregnant and
breastfeeding mom’s nutrition, and adult acute care nutrition. She has provided nutrition counseling, managed tube feeding and parenteral nutrition support, and provided one-on-one and group diet education. She has worked with clients/ patients from newborns to 100+ year old individuals. She has always been
passionate about working in pediatrics and working more extensively with clients/patients on their nutrition goals. Amanda covers the outpatient/inpatient Renal Services and is an active member of the Kidney Transplant Program through CHKD.
