"I came to CHKD looking for a work community that felt like family and to be surrounded by people I could learn from and amongst. Being a dietitian at CHKD has fulfilled both of those desires. It has been a simply wonderful experience and I am grateful to all of the patients and providers I get the opportunity to learn from each day.”

Bio
Rachel came to CHKD with
a heart for pediatric nutrition and a desire to learn in an immersive
kid-friendly environment. She has found her work at CHKD to be deeply
fulfilling to her personal and professional life and has valued the ability to
learn from and with the wonderful healthcare providers at CHKD. She helps
patients and their families in both an inpatient and outpatient capacity,
primarily serving the gastrointestinal population. She address nutritional
concerns surrounding complex issues such as inflammatory bowel disease, short
gut syndrome, celiac disease, food allergies and intolerances, enteral
nutrition support, growth concerns, and weight management.
Rachel’s experience as a dietitian at CHKD has been a joy and
blessing to her. She loves being able to form lasting relationships with
patients while they are admitted at CHKD and enjoys the ability to continue
personally following their care after discharge.
