Bio
Dr. Restaino is a board
certified pediatrician. He is a member in good standing with the American
Academy of Pediatrics national and local chapters since 1985. He started
private practice in 1985 and began at CHKD in 1993, where he cares for his
patients and teaches and mentors high school, college and medical students as
well as pediatrics and family practice residents.
Dr. Restaino received his
bachelor’s degree at Notre Dame University, his Master of Science in Microbiology
at Wagner College, and his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine. He completed a rotating internship at Suncoast Hospital and his
pediatrics residency at Georgetown University.
He has coached soccer for ages
six through 21. He is also a member of his parish council.
