"I love watching children grow and meet each new developmental milestone. It is rewarding to develop trusting relationships with the patients and their families. I feel a strong rapport allows open communication and makes them all feel comfortable discussing their concerns and asking questions."

Bio
Willis knew from kindergarten on that she wanted
to be a nurse.
Her love of pediatrics began while she was in her RN program at Hampton
University. Her professor there made pediatric nursing seem so fun and amazing.
Upon graduation, she applied to only one hospital: CHKD. She knew that it was
were she wanted to begin her career and she worked in the medical surgery unit on the seventh floor for 16
years, finding it gratifying to nurse sick children back to health and then
watch them happily go home.
Eventually, she decided it would be even more rewarding to work with families as their children grew.
So she decided to return to school and become a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.
