Bio
Dr. Charette’s father was in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk in the early 60s. Dr. Charette’s family moved all around, as military families do, and eventually wound up in New Jersey. After finishing college in Philadelphia, and then medical school in New Jersey, Dr. Charette found her way back to Norfolk, where she completed her residency at CHKD and decided to stay. She’s lived here now for close to three decades.
Dr. Charette has been practicing at PDC Pediatrics since 1992 and enjoys the continuing relationships she’s developed with her patients and families. She says it’s a joy to watch children grow from infancy to young adulthood and have them come back with their own children.
She's also a football fan and enjoys cheering on the Washington Redskins.

A Note from Dr. Charette
"When I finished my residency at CHKD, I had planned to return to New Jersey, but loved the CHKD community so much that I stayed here and made it my home. We have a wonderful hospital and all the specialties available to serve our patients."
