Bio
Dr. Kagan is a Boston native and graduated from Boston University. He attended Georgetown University School of Medicine along with a clinical fellowship in pulmonary medicine and anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School. He is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at EVMS, preceptor for 1st and 2nd year medical students and past chairman of pediatrics at DePaul Hospital and Chesapeake General Hospital. He served six years as a member and interviewer on the committee of admissions at EVMS.
Dr. Kagan lives in Virginia Beach with wife Joanne and has 2 children. His daughter is a clinical psychologist and son is a professional artist who has exhibited worldwide. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing at the beach with a good book, anything Red Sox, flying (by simulation), amateur astronomy, and, of course, Angry Birds.
