graduating from Princeton in three years, he completed medical school in New
York and residency in Philadelphia. He worked for 16 years as a partner in
Denville Pediatrics, where he enjoyed caring for children and partnering with
families as their kids grew up to healthy and thriving young adults.
In 2012,
his wife Samantha, a pediatric geneticist, accepted a position at CHKD, and
they moved from Pennsylvania to Norfolk. Their daughter was born in December
2012.
Dr.
Vergano joined Pediatric Specialists in September 2013 after
working for a year as a pediatric hospitalist, and is thrilled to be
working with such a warm, friendly and academic practice. He

A Note from Dr. Vergano
"The true joy of pediatrics is helping families and children grow and develop from infancy through adolescence. It is a privilege and an honor to be entrusted with the care of a child, and I am delighted to be affiliated with the wonderful, devoted staff at Pediatric Specialists and CHKD."
