Bio
Dr. Slade-Byrd truly believes that CHKD is 'more than a hospital.' As a resident, practicing physician and mother of three, she can honestly say that this motto is true to heart. During her residency at CHKD, she had the privilege of learning from some of the most knowledgeable and experienced attending physicians and specialists in their respective fields. Now as a practicing general pediatrician, she has been able to take this knowledge and apply it to her every day practice and help take care of some wonderful families and their children in the Hampton Roads area.
From the admitting department to the radiologists, laboratory services, nursing staff, residents and attending physicians, Dr. Slade-Byrd feels that every aspect of CHKD is dedicated to delivering quality care and service specifically for children.
