Bio
Originally from Long Island, Worthington graduated Penn State with a
degree in Health Policy and Administration, but quickly realized her passion was
to provide direct patient care.
After graduating from Columbia University
in 2013 as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner, she started her career
with a pediatric primary care practice, providing well infant and child exams, sport
physicals, acute sick visits and managing a variety of pediatric chronic
illnesses.
She has over the years taken an interest in infant and child development, specifically
neurological developmental disorders. She feels fortunate to be joining the neurosurgery team and to now have the
opportunity to work more closely and provide such sensitive care for these children and their families.
Outside of work, she enjoys chasing her curious toddler and taking family trips.
