Bio

Dr. Corbett, a pediatric urologist at CHKD, was born in Southern California and raised in Northern California.

He received his bachelor's degree in biology at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and then did research at the University of California at Los Angeles. 

He joined his family in moving overseas, and received his medical degree at the University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. 

He completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. He did his urology residency at Dartmouth in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and a  pediatric urology fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. 

He has a faculty position in the Department of Urology and Pediatrics at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the Department of Urology at CHKD in Norfolk.

He is married and has two children. He loves exercising, especially running and cycling, and also loves to cook.

EMR as database for variety of conditions including congenital kidney conditions (congenital hydronephrosis and kidney stones), vesicoureteral reflux, congenital genitourinary abnormalities (including hypospadias and undescended testes), spina bifida, and dysfunctional elimination
