Jenelle Drake is a licensed professional counselor who has a strong interest in helping families from all walks of life. She is particularly interested in supporting and helping teens as they make the transition to adulthood.

She is also a licensed family and marriage therapist who has expertise in helping families of teens who are experiencing mental health problems. Previous to coming to Virginia, she worked in California at a residential facility for troubled teens, and also helped them transition back home.

Jenelle has been with CHKD since 2019, and has helped develop the Bridge Clinic, primarily working with adolescents who are experiencing depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal/homicidal ideations.

When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, learning and doing home projects, snowboarding trips, and making a better future for her own children, and all children.
