Children’s Pavilion provides a setting that integrates mental health care with other routine medical services.


Children in Need of Emergency Mental Health Treatment

Please note that children in need of emergency mental health treatment should continue to go to the emergency department in the main CHKD hospital.


Services at Children's Pavilion

General Academic Pediatrics, a CHKD primary care practice, has moved from the first floor of CHKD’s main hospital on the same campus to the 4th floor of Children’s Pavilion at 401 Gresham Drive.

Inpatient mental health services - Inpatient mental health services are provided in a safe, structured setting for children who need more continuous support to reach stability.

Outpatient mental health services - Pediatric psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and mental health therapists are providing outpatient mental health care on the 9th floor of Children’s Pavilion. 

Partial Hospitalization Program - The partial hospitalization program (PHP) at CHKD provides mental health services for children and adolescents who require coordinated, structured, and interdisciplinary treatment within a consistent environment.

Sports medicine physicians who specialize in athletic, exercise, musculoskeletal, and sports related injuries or pain are treating patients on the 5th floor of Children's Pavilion.

Laboratory and Radiology services are also available within Children's Pavilion.

Campus Directions

Please use Entrance 4 from Brambleton Ave. or Entrance 5 from Hampton Blvd. to get to the Pavilion.
