Personal Statement
CHKD has evolved to become a pioneer in children’s health, always striving for excellence yet not losing the vision of community outreach. It’s a comfort to know my patients are always in the hands of well-trained specialists and nurses who are all willing to give me advice as well. It’s great to be part of the CHKD family.
Bio
Dr. Ongkingco was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. in 1988. Following his residency training at CHKD, he practiced for three years in Alabama. He then returned to Hampton Roads in 1998 to be closer to family and reconnect with CHKD.
Dr. Ongkingco enjoys a variety of music genres, movies, biking, dining, travel, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
