The reasons why CHKD is great and what bought me here is due to their goal of making a difference in not only the children's lives, but also the families.

Bio

Charles Stith has been interested in health care since he was kid, he just didn’t know exactly what he wanted to do in the medical field. He became an emergency medical technician after high school, and received his bachelor’s degree in science from Ferrum College. He then went to Jefferson College of Health Sciences, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Stith is now a certified pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care. He chose the nursing field because he enjoys bedside care, advocating for his patients, and participating in the continuity of care as a child grows up.
