Emily Datyner, MD

Bio

Having grown up in Norfolk, Dr. Datyner is excited to be back home caring for the children of Hampton Roads. Dr. Datyner loves being a pediatric rheumatologist because of the opportunity to treat complex diseases, form long-term relationships with her patients and their families, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and significantly improve her patients' quality of life. Her clinical interests include but are not limited to juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, juvenile systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

When she is not at work, Dr. Datyner enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and two dogs.
