Bio

Jamitta Brooks has been providing mental health services since 2014 in community-based care and residential facilities. She uses solution-focused approaches to solve problems while working with the children and adolescents in the emergency department. She enjoys advocating for children in vulnerable populations who need support in locating the best level of care to address their needs.

As a licensed clinician, she provides mental health evaluations and patient-care treatment recommendations, often assisting families with obtaining community resources and referrals for the next level of care.
