I enjoy developmental pediatrics because it has a strong emphasis on many things I am passionate about, including education and improving the quality of life for children and their families.
Bio
Dr. Massey is from Baltimore, Maryland. She went to Howard University for her undergraduate degree and Meharry Medical College for medical school. Dr. Massey came to CHKD/EVMS for her residency because she wanted to experience working in a freestanding, full-service children’s hospital and to be closer to home. She went into medicine because of her desire to help people and care for minoritized groups.
In her spare time, Dr. Massey likes to read and shop. She enjoys musicals, theater, and live music.
