Personal Statement

As a pediatrician, I want to make a difference in people's lives and make families feel supported and heard. CHKD seemed like just the place to help me foster that goal!

Bio

Dr. Segal grew up in Philadelphia. As a lifelong lover of science and teaching, she entered medicine to combine the two and help others in a meaningful way.

Dr. Segal considers herself very passionate about setting children up for success by instilling healthy habits so they can go on to live healthy and meaningful lives. She values the opportunity to advocate for children and families as a pediatrician. Dr. Segal joined CHKD to further the mission of helping the community.

Dr. Segal moved from North Carolina and lives with her husband and two dogs, Bruno and Benny. She loves to run, hike with her dogs, crochet, read, bake, bird watch, and work in her garden.
