Personal Statement
While I was working for the Navy, I volunteered to conduct supermarket tours for the Healthy You for Life families. When asked if I would be interested in a more permanent role with Healthy You, I jumped at the chance! I was ready to share my love for healthy eating with families on a regular basis, and joined the wonderful, multidisciplinary team of Healthy You for Life!
Bio
Lynn is a fruit and vegetable lover at heart. She grew up in sunny California where fruits and vegetables are fresh and plentiful. She believes access to healthy foods should be affordable to everyone.
Lynn received her Master of Science degree and completed her dietetic internship at James Madison University while she was working for the Navy as a government employee for Health Promotion. She was the program manager for the Navy’s weight management program “ShipShape”.
Lynn enjoys living in Virginia Beach with her family. She is happiest being outdoors, walking, riding her bike, or traveling.
