Sandra Baucom, MD is a board-certified pediatrician at Infinity Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine, an independent practice that’s part of the Children’s Health Network (CHN). CHN is a regional system that connects pediatric providers to improve care across Hampton Roads. While CHKD is also a CHN member, it does not own or control Infinity Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Baucom earned her medical degree from UNC Chapel Hill Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at UAMS in Little Rock Arkansas. She then returned to North Carolina to practice in a rural area that had never had a pediatrician.
Dr. Baucom has a special interest in children and adolescents with special needs. She has extra training in the management of childhood and adolescent anxiety and depression, and other disorders of mood and behavior, including autism and explosive behavior disorders.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Baucom is an assistant professor of Pediatrics and Family and Community Medicine at EVMS.
