Personal Statement

While in clinical practice, I grew to love caring for children and it has become my passion to partner with the family and the patient to provide quality medical care.

Bio

Smith is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the inpatient physician assistant for Gastroenterology and Hepatology at CHKD. She also sees patients in urgent care.

Smith has participated in medical missions to Bogotá, Colombia, as well as community projects including Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the HER Shelter for Abused Women, and NEST projects for the homeless.

Away from work, she is passionate about cooking, outdoor sports, and hanging out with her husband and two children. She is also involved in her church community.
