Bio
Dr. Smith is from Annapolis, Maryland, and earned her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.
She completed her master's degree in health science reproductive and cancer biology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, and then earned her medical degree at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York.
Dr. Smith did her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and became chief resident.
She is now joining Suffolk Pediatrics and also works in the Emergency Department at CHKD.
She and her husband appreciate the family-focused atmosphere of Hampton Roads and the coastal lifestyle. They enjoy fishing, sailing, and swimming.
