Meet Sandra "Sam" Fabian, Community Outreach and Engagement Manager

Sandra "Sam" Fabian, Community Outreach and Engagement Program Manager

Sam is responsible for managing the community outreach and engagement department at CHKD. Her role includes overseeing the Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan. She also coordinates various professional and parent classes, conferences, special events, as well as mental health education and outreach programs.

In addition to these responsibilities, Sam co-chairs both the Youth Sports Mental Health & Wellness Alliance and the Hampton Roads Parenting Education Network (HRPEN). She actively develops programmatic partnerships with local schools, coalitions, sports organizations, and other community agencies and stakeholders.
