Duties
Rabinowitz provides oversight of all areas of Human Resources (HR) for CHKD Health System, including talent acquisition, Total Rewards, Workforce Learning and Development, Employee Relations, and HR operations.
Background
Rabinowitz brings more than 30 years of legal and HR experience in the healthcare industry to Team CHKD. A trusted partner to boards and C-suite leaders, he has extensive experience in all aspects of leading sophisticated human resources teams. Rabinowitz currently serves as CHKD’s Interim Chief People Officer and previously supported VCU Health as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer in 2024. He spent over a decade as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at the Westchester Medical Center Health Network in New York, following roles as Senior Associate General Counsel at both WMCHealth and Northwell Health. He is a Partner at executive search firm Buffkin Baker in the Healthcare and Human Resources practices.
Education
Rabinowitz holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
