Bio

Adaugo Oriji, DNP, CPNP-PC grew up in Trenton, New Jersey, as the child of Nigerian immigrants. She considers her identity to be shaped by the strong values instilled by her parents and the vibrant yet challenging neighborhood in which she was raised. While the community faced safety concerns, it was also filled with kind, welcoming, and resilient people who shaped her love for service.

Dr. Oriji’s passion for healthcare stems from a deep love for people, especially children. She has always been drawn to their energy, curiosity, and resilience and considers it a joy to support their healing and overall wellness. Dr. Oriji finds the field of allergy and immunology fascinating because of the body’s remarkable ability to fight pathogens and respond to real or perceived threats without conscious effort. She truly enjoys learning about these processes and caring for children who experience related symptoms.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Oriji enjoys reading (particularly memoirs), volunteering, dancing, and working out. These activities bring balance and joy to her life, while also fueling her curiosity and commitment to serving others.
