I love that CHKD has given me the opportunity to care for children and their families. CHKD does a wonderful job at keeping children and their wellbeing the focus of everything they do.

Bio

Born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, Alexis started her nursing career at CHKD. She has been in pediatrics for over eight years, including over five years with CHKD.

Alexis has a passion for seeing all communities receive quality healthcare. She has participated in international medical missions and partnered with Old Dominion University's Community Care program. Alexis values partnering with children and their families to keep children healthy and help them thrive.

In her spare time, Alexis enjoys being outside and active, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
