Personal Statement
I first experienced CHKD as a new parent, and every interaction from top to bottom has made me want to be a part of this team as a provider. I was immediately impressed with the exceptional care we received from everyone we saw. As a provider, I am able to see all of the care and attention it takes behind the scenes to make that quality care possible.
Bio
Dr. Wall grew up in Southport, North Carolina, and still loves to be by the water in Newport News. She wanted to pursue a career in medicine, particular psychology, because she is passionate about supporting the mental health and well-being of some of our most vulnerable children.
Dr. Wall's primary clinical interest is in conducting assessments to help guide appropriate supports for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. She is also interested in using research to help better the lives of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.
Dr. Wall and her family are big sports fans and enjoy watching whatever team is on and going to local sporting events, especially college basketball. She is a lifelong Blue Devil, having attended Duke University for her undergrad, pre-doctoral internship, and post-doctoral fellowship.
Dr. Wall lives with her husband, one-year-old daughter, and their 13-year-old corgi, Scarlett. She loves to travel, especially internationally, and likes to have at least one upcoming trip planned.
