Bio
Originally from Texas, Dr. Banks earned her doctorate degree in school psychology from Oklahoma State University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, the Center for Effective Schools and completed her doctoral fellowship at Boys Town Behavioral Health Clinic. Throughout her training, Dr. Banks gained experience in assessment, behavioral skills training, and psychotherapy for youth with emotional and behavioral disorders. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families in school and clinical settings.
Dr. Banks strives to create an accepting atmosphere where client needs are heard and utilizes a collaborative approach to promote therapeutic gains for children and their families.
In her leisure time, Dr. Banks participates in her local church and enjoys the outdoors. Dr. Banks also loves horses and volunteering at equine facilities.
