Personal Statement
My passion is training future pediatricians. General Academic Pediatrics at CHKD is a great place to do that because we give 65 pediatric residents their hands-on daily experience in what being a pediatrician in a primary care practice is like.
Bio
Dr. Flatin is Medical Director of Care Connection for Kids. Care Connection for Kids is part of a statewide system that helps families with children with special health care needs receive the community, educational, and medical care they need so that they can reach their maximum potential.
Dr. Flatin has been a board-certified pediatrician since 1992. She is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School and has been with General Academic Pediatrics since 1995.
