Hiba Alamin, MD

Bio

Dr. Hiba Alamin is a board-certified pediatrician at General Academic Pediatrics, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for children and families across the Hampton Roads community. She earned her medical degree from the University of Khartoum and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. 

As part of CHKD’s General Academic Pediatrics team, Dr. Alamin cares for children with a wide range of healthcare needs, including underserved and medically complex populations. She is committed to fostering strong relationships with patients and families while supporting children’s physical, emotional, and developmental well-being through every stage of childhood. 

Known for her warm, attentive approach to care, Dr. Alamin values clear communication, preventive medicine, and creating a welcoming environment where families feel heard and supported.
