I was drawn to CHKD because of its commitment to providing the most up-to-date health education to the population it serves as well as other health care professionals.
Bio
Adams is the daughter of a Navy veteran and grew up in Virginia Beach, which she considers home.
A graduate of Kellam High, she completed her radiologic technology degree at Tidewater Community College. After graduation, she worked for several years as a radiologic technologist in the outpatient setting.
She completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School, after which she joined the CHKD Urgent Care team.
She comes from a CHKD family as both of her parents have worked for CHKD. Now she has chosen to combine her two loves, pediatrics and radiology, by joining the radiology group to perform radiologic procedures. Because she also enjoys the pace and environment of urgent care, she continues to serve part-time in that role.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, crafting, and remodeling her home. Being very family oriented, she enjoys vacationing with her parents.
