Personal Statement

I have always loved working with children and I am thrilled at the opportunity to be able to take care of such wonderful children and families.

Bio

Born and raised in Suffolk, Gudger's nursing career began at Sentara Obici Hospital, where she worked for a year in medical-oncology and then moved to the women’s center and nursery for her remaining six years there.

Gudger is certified in low-risk neonatal nursing and as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

A former dance instructor and cheerleading coach, she has always been passionate about working with children and adolescents and knew that pediatrics was her calling.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
