Bio

Melanie Agustin, PhD, LPC, NCC, is a licensed professional counselor who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and their families. She is a mental health therapist at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, where she works in an acute inpatient setting supporting youth experiencing complex mental health needs.

Dr. Agustin has experience providing individual, family, and group therapy in pediatric integrated care settings. She is passionate about helping young people build coping skills, navigate emotional challenges, and strengthen connections within their families. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and developmentally responsive to each child’s unique needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Agustin is a board-approved clinical supervisor and counselor educator, supporting the training and development of future mental health professionals.
