Pediatric care is where my heart is. I am excited to be a part of CHKD, especially the urgent care team.
Bio
Michelle Sanders grew up in a small town in the gold country of California. After receiving her bachelor of science degree in nursing, she joined the United States Navy. In 2008, she graduated from the University of San Diego, receiving her master of science in nursing degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She retired from the Navy in 2020 and remains proud to have served her country.
Michelle works part-time in order to spend more time with her family, who she says she loves more than anything in the world. In her free time, her children keep her busy with their sports activities in swimming, soccer, baseball, and field hockey.
