Personal Statement
CHKD provided life-saving care and on-going reconstructive surgeries for my youngest sibling. CHKD has one focus – the child – and that's why I am so honored to be a part of this team.
Bio
Dr. Gabriel is a Norfolk native and a graduate of Norfolk Public Schools. She was the graduating Kaufman scholar for Old Dominion University and throughout her medical career she has combined her love of community and her medical expertise to help the children of Hampton Roads.
Dr. Gabriel serves as Chair of the Norfolk School Board and is a voice for improving school nutrition, physical education, and mental health needs.
Prior to joining CHKD Medical Group, she worked as an attending physician in the emergency department at CHKD and continues to see patients there as well.
