Personal Statement
It is an incredible honor to care for children, watch them grow and develop and help manage their health care needs. CHKD is a leader in providing excellent, state-of-the-art pediatric care in the Hampton Roads community, and I am privileged to be part of this team.
Bio
Dr. Amiri grew up in Maryland and has lived and worked in Hawaii and Georgia. She relocated to Hampton Roads in 2009 and has two children who attend school in Newport News.
She loves working with children and getting to know their families and is excited to be a part of the CHKD family and to work in the community where she lives.
In her free time, she enjoys hot yoga, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
