Bio
Dr. Steven Goudy is a board-certified pediatric otolaryngologist (ENT) with more than 20 years of experience specializing in comprehensive head and neck surgery for children. He has particular expertise in treating cleft and craniofacial conditions, vascular anomalies, and pediatric head and neck tumors.
Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Goudy completed his training in Kentucky and Iowa and previously served on the faculty at Vanderbilt and Emory University. He currently serves as chair of the Department of Otolaryngology and as president of the American Cleft Palate Association (2026).
Dr. Goudy is dedicated to advancing care for children with congenital head and neck differences. His research focuses on developing innovative therapies to improve healing and outcomes for pediatric patients. He was drawn to CHKD by its collaborative culture and the opportunity to work alongside respected former colleagues from Vanderbilt.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Goudy enjoys innovation and entrepreneurship and has founded two companies, Dr. Noze Best and Oridivus. He also enjoys travel, following European soccer, and spending time with his wife, three children, and their pets.
