Application Process

Search and Apply

Visit and Search the CHKD Careers Sitehttps://www.chkdcareers.org/

Search for Job Opportunities: Use the search function to find positions that match your interests and qualifications. You can filter by job category, location, or keyword.

Select a Position: Click on a job title to view the detailed job description and requirements.

Apply Online: Click the "Apply Now" button. You will be prompted to create an account or log in if you already have one.

Create Your Application: Complete the online application form, providing all necessary information.

Upload Documents: Upload your resume and any other relevant documents, such as licenses, cover letters, letters of recommendation, certifications, or transcripts.

Submit Your Application: Review your application to ensure all information is accurate, then submit it for consideration. The application system will save the information and documents, making it easier for you to submit applications for other positions.

Application Review and Selection

Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed by a member of the CHKD Talent Acquisition team. If there is a match between your qualifications and the position you applied for, a recruiter or hiring manager will contact you via telephone or email to discuss the next steps, such as scheduling a phone screen or in-person interview.

If you are not selected for an interview, your resume will remain in CHKD's online database for future opportunities. You can always check the status of the jobs you've applied for through your applicant portal.

If you have any questions or want to follow up, please email the CHKD Talent Acquisition Team.

Interview

Telephone Screening: If selected for a telephone screening, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your qualifications and any relevant details with a member of the Talent Acquisition team. This conversation helps them understand more about your background and how it aligns with the role.

After the screening, your application will be forwarded to the appropriate hiring manager for review. If the hiring manager believes you are a good fit, you might be invited for an in-person or virtual interview, depending on the position.

In-person Interviews: For in-person interviews, the hiring team or recruiter will reach out to schedule the interview. For virtual interviews, you will receive a meeting invite from the hiring team, recruiter, or another member of the Talent Acquisition team.

The interview process may vary based on the role, and the Talent Acquisition team and hiring manager will provide more specific information about the steps involved.
