Winter Illness Warning
When It’s a Real Emergency, Go Straight to the ER or call 911
Going to an Urgent Care Could Delay Needed Treatment!
If your child has any of the following symptoms, or they have been treated in an Emergency Department in the past 72 hours, they should be cared for in a hospital Emergency Department, not an Urgent Care.
— Difficulty Breathing. Look for any of these signs:
The chest wall draws inward toward the spine when inhaling.
Breathing rapidly, like you do after exercise.
Blueish tinge to lips.
Needing to use your child’s Asthma medicine more often than every 4 hours.
— Signs of significant dehydration, including no urination in the last 12 hours.
— Fever over 100.4 in a baby less than 60 days old.
— Severe allergic reaction requiring the use of an Epi-pen.
— Extreme tiredness/difficulty waking or staying alert.
— Any fall or head injury in which your child lost consciousness for any amount of time
Be Safe! When in doubt, call 911!

Our Urgent Care centers are staffed by board-certified pediatricians, pediatric nurses and pediatric-trained nurse practitioners and physician assistants who work all day, every day, with children. We take care of all kids, from birth through their 21st birthday, and have
X-ray and lab services on site.
Whether it’s a sudden illness or an on-field injury, our Urgent Care pediatricians are ready to take care of your child. We’ll also communicate back with your child’s regular doctor. If your child goes to a
