Kamron Blue, LCSW, Program Coordinator
Safer Futures program coordinator, Kamron Blue, LCSW, is a Virginia Beach native and proud alumnus of Norfolk State University and Saint Leo University. Kamron devotes his time and skills to serving the children and families in Hampton Roads. His previous professional experience includes community-based mental health services and Child Protective Services investigations. CHKD’s Safer Futures program provides clinical and case management support to patients who are victims of community violence. In addition, Kamron serves on the health system’s staff-led Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee. He has also developed and facilitated multiple trainings for health system staff to include mental health skills foundation training and mandated reporting for child abuse and neglect.
Vickie Madison, MA, Clinical Case Manager
Vickie Madison, MA, is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She is an alumnus of Norfolk State University. She holds a BA in psychology and a MA in community clinical psychology. She has completed extensive postgraduate coursework at Old Dominion University. She is also a resident in counseling and a certified General District Court mediator. Her prior work experience includes substance abuse counseling, school based mental health counseling, college and career readiness counseling and coordination, non-profit organization management, and project management with the Saint Paul’s Community Revitalization Project. She and her husband Mark are the proud parents of three adult children and a cat named “Kat.”
