Bio
Anna is a family nurse practitioner with our Urgent Care center in Virginia Beach, and has worked in pediatric healthcare for 13 years.
She was raised in Ohio and has always wanted to live near the ocean. Her father is from Virginia Beach, so her family would visit every year. She moved here in June of 2022 to help take care of her parents.
She entered the healthcare field after serving in the U.S. Army Reserves and doing a tour of duty in Iraq in 2006. She worked at a children's hospital in Ohio for 11 years in both the pediatric intensive care unit and emergency department as a nurse and an advanced practice nurse.
She and her husband love to hike, go for walks on the beach, and travel.
She enjoys pediatrics because you treat the family as well as the patient. She is passionate about educating patients and families.
