Danielle Getty, NP-C

Bio

Danielle grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, where her interest in healthcare began through Maury High School’s medical program. Inspired to pursue a nursing career, she earned her BSN at the University of Virginia and obtained her MSN at George Mason University to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Danielle joined CHKD because of her dedication to pediatrics and her interest in orthopedics draws from her own experience as a pediatric orthopedic patient. Having been on the patient side of care, she understands how overwhelming the experience can be and is committed to helping children and families feel informed, comfortable, and confident with their care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three sons, and two dogs. She also loves trying out new local food spots and baking.
