Personal Statement

The teamwork and shared passion for giving the very best care to our patients is what makes CHKD great.

Bio

Elizabeth Webb, FNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at the Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at CHKD. She is originally from Easton, MD, but now lives in Virginia Beach. She says she always knew that she wanted to work in pediatrics. Growing up, she often helped watch her six younger siblings, so taking care of children came naturally to her.

Webb began her nursing career as an inpatient pediatric hematology and oncology nurse at CHKD in 2013. She says the patients and families she cared for taught her so much, not only clinically, but also in regards to resilience, bravery, strength, and compassion. They helped shape the nurse and nurse practitioner she is today.

After becoming a nurse practitioner, it didn't take her very long to realize that working with pediatric hematology and oncology patients was her true passion.

When she's not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time on the beach, hiking, and visiting friends and family.
