Personal Statement

I am proud to be a part of the caring, educated and cooperative group of physicians at CHKD. With the new Urgent Care team, it is nice to be able to bring a CHKD experience to the Virginia Beach community.

Bio

Dr. Galiotos, who attended the College of William and Mary, has lived in Virginia Beach since early childhood.

Prior to coming to the Urgent Care centers, she was a pediatrician in the emergency department at CHKD in Norfolk. She thrives on the fast pace of the ER and urgent care, yet still enjoys meeting families and taking the time to explain her clinical decision making with them, knowing it to be important as a main clinical goal to educate families on the topic of fever while practicing only judicious, clinically indicated use of antibiotic therapies.

Dr. Galiotos lives in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach with her husband and three children.
