Bio

Originally from the D.C. area, Parrott began her nursing career at CHKD almost 20 years ago. For over a decade she has worked as a nurse practitioner in primary care pediatrics and in nursing undergraduate and graduate education.

She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and Certification as a Nurse Educator from Old Dominion University in 2010.

Parrott enjoys the pace of CHKD's Urgent Care environment and the opportunity to care for a variety of children from all ages and backgrounds.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with and cheering for her three children, volunteering with vulnerable populations, and going to the beach.
