How can I refer my patient to pediatric surgery?
When will my patient be able to obtain an appointment?

Your patient will be seen at the earliest appointment available, which is usually within one week.

Urgent appointments will be accommodated within 24 hours or less.

What work-up is needed prior to the first appointment?

Please send any relevant records not accessible through CHKD’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) such as lab results, radiology imaging and other accompanying reports. Some conditions require pre-consult work-up. Please contact our office at (757) 668-8529.

Which provider will my patient see at the first appointment?

Your child will be seen as quickly as possible with the provider who is the best match for managing the current condition.
