Quality, Patient-Centered Care

NCQA logoA medical home is not a place – it’s the way our healthcare team provides the highest quality services to best meet the needs of your child and your family. It is a trusting partnership between you, your child, and your child’s primary care team. It’s where your child’s medical records are complete, and everyone knows your name. And, it’s a pediatrician who will help you access and coordinate specialty care, educational resources, family support, and any other services that are important to the well-being of your child. We are proud to have been recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for our commitment to the highest quality, patient-centered care.

Appointments

We recognize and respect the value of your time, so all patients are seen by appointment. To help us make sure you see the provider of your choice, try to schedule routine appointments at least four weeks in advance. If you need to change an appointment, please let us know right away, so others won’t be inconvenienced. Missed appointments may be subject to a service charge unless cancelled 24 hours in advance.

Routine Checkups

Routine checkups are an important part of keeping your child healthy. By maintaining a regular checkup schedule, you can help prevent illness, detect hidden problems and monitor your child’s growth and development. We would like to see your child every year for a checkup. Please know, however, many insurance companies do not cover this type of care after age five, so please check with your family’s insurer.
