Dr. McDonald grew up in Washington, D.C., and completed her medical training and residency in southern California.

She returned to the East Coast to practice general pediatrics in Virginia Beach before joining the Urgent Care team at CHKD.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking bike rides, and gardening. She lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and three children.
