Vice President, Experience of Care
Duties
Cak leads health system service excellence efforts. His operational areas of responsibility include the call center, chaplaincy services, child life, cultural and language services, patient experience, patient relations and culturally effective care, volunteer services, and the hospital school program.
Background
Cak first joined CHKD in 2013. He most recently served as Director of Patient Experience Services. Prior to joining CHKD, Cak’s healthcare career focused on patient/family support services and palliative care. In this capacity, he served in various roles at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and the Ohio Fetal Medicine Collaborative.
Education
Cak received a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Adventist University, Master of Divinity from Andrews University, a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Wesleyan University, and a Doctor of Ministry in Healthcare Chaplaincy and Bioethics from Andrews University.
