Our Dads in Action program is designed to help all dads gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need when bringing baby home and in the years that follow.

 Fatherhood 101 is a virtual program for new or expectant dads. This class, taught by our fatherhood consultant and a   CHKD pediatrician, will prepare you for the arrival and care of your new baby. Learn the skills necessary to bring baby home, and how to navigate changing family and social relationships.  This class is offered three times per year.

Dads in Action (DIA) Dad Talk takes place monthly and provides a place for dads in every stage of parenting to come together and discuss meaningful topics. Facilitated discussions include topics like: family of origin, fathering skills, raising sons, raising daughters, finances, discipline and more. The third Thursday of every month from 6 -7 p.m. Register Here

Birth and Beyond is CHKD’s parenting blog where fatherhood blogger  Z. Andrew Jatau shares his insights, trials, and triumphs in parenting his two young daughters, and offers guidance on various topics that are sure to be of interest to dads in action.
